Are you happy with the Supreme Court's ruling on Citizens United Corp. vs the Federal Election Commission?
The court's decision, which ruled that corporations have the same First Amendment rights as individuals, ended the ban on direct corporate campaign spending on candidates running for office. Now, the NRA and Pfizer can officially financially sponsor Sarah Palin, and mega-corporations like Apple (plus just about every Hollywood film institution) can sponsor President Obama's run for a second term. Wal-Mart will be able to sponsor those running for Senate. Do you agree with this ruling?

Should we clone endangered species so we don't lose them?
Animal cloning is progressing. At the Audubon Nature Inst, Betsy Dresser, Ph.D., cloned endangered African wildcats--the first in the world.
"My personal hope for cloning is that it becomes one of the tools that we can call on when we have a species that drops so low in number," Dresser says.
The surgeons extract eggs from a housecat. They remove the DNA and inject cells from an endangered wildcat into those empty eggs, which are re-implanted into the housecat. Nine weeks later, a wildcat clone is born.

Should officials and military personnel be given a different, safer serum of H1N1 vaccine than the general populace?
The German military, according to a news report, ordered a different vaccine against swine influenza for Germany's 250,000 soldiers. The vaccine is not the same serum which will be used to inoculate the civil population to protect against the swine flu. The more acceptable vaccine for the soldiers contains neither controversial additives nor mercury-containing preservatives. Should officials and military personnel have a safer vaccine than the citizenry in any country? See report at http://www.legitgov.org

Which statement best characterizes President Obama?
Republican pundits have two completely polarized views of our president, and fail to see that the two are mutually exclusive. One claim is that Obama is some kind of socialist political mastermind intent on (and succeeding at) tearing our country apart from the inside out. The other opinion is that he is a do-nothing "dithering" indecisive apologist. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE BOTH. Which statement do you think best characterizes the president?

Will the Democratic party retain the majority in 2010?
Looking forward to the 2010 elections. Will the republican party loose even more seats in the house and senate?
The republican party continues to be the party of exclusion. This president is trying to bring people of all walks of life together yet it seems the only desire of the GOP is for president Obama to fail. It doesn't matter what he may accomplish the republican party will continue to spew their hatred for him. He did not ask to become the recipient or had no control over winning the noble peace prize. Yet, he is criticized and hated even more by the majority of the right wing, when all of us should be proud as a country, When the president delivered a message of hope and responsibility to Americas school children most of the right wing accused him of indoctrinating America's children with his "Socialist ideology" (which is absolutely not true.) A number of these wackos attend presidential events showcasing guns and racist signs (when has that ever happen?) not since the early nineteen hundreds. Yet they praise the likes of people as Limbaugh and Beck. Most of their leaders in congress are spineless, They offer no solutions or Ideas, They will not denounce the over the top hatred aimed at this president (except for Lindsey Graham on Glenn Beck and Colin Powell on the republican party) So, those of you that continue to promotes this hatred for president Obama, Keep it up . It only makes him stronger and allows reasonable people to see what the republican party is really all about.
