What do you think about conservatives' plan to edit the Bible?
There is a group of Christian conservatives engaged in an effort to re-write the Bible with a Republican slant. They claim the NIV edition is "too liberal," and instead of going back to the King James version they have decided to write their own. Examples of what they intend to take out include Luke 23:34 as well as John 8:7. (I guess all that forgiveness stuff is just for Democrats.) What do you think?
